A distinctive Italian classic with rally heritage, extensive technical upgrades and international endurance rally experience.

This 1975 Fiat 124 Sport Spider CS1 has been transformed into an Abarth Rally Replica, combining iconic Italian styling with rally-inspired engineering. Finished in red with a black bonnet and hardtop, it features extended wheel arches, auxiliary lights, alloy wheels and a roll cage.

Originally sold in the USA, the car was later imported to Germany and brought to Finland in 2003. Between 2005 and 2023, it was modified to its current Abarth Rally Replica specification. The car is FIVA-approved (No. 105694) and has participated in the Badawi Trail 2023 and the Sahara Challenge 2024, both long-distance historic endurance regularity rallies.

Major upgrades and technical work

The car has received extensive mechanical and electrical improvements, including a performance exhaust manifold, oil cooler, new radiator and electric cooling fan, new fuel tank and fuel pump, new alternator, and a completely renewed electrical system installed by a professional auto electrician.

Further work includes a new brake master cylinder, callipers, pads and hoses; new front and rear wheel bearings; a new steering idler assembly; replaced suspension bushes and ball joints; reinforced front shock absorber mounts; and protective plates for the engine and fuel tank.

Recent maintenance and engine condition

Serviced on 6 September 2026, including an engine oil and filter change and checks of transmission oil, differential oil, coolant and steering components. A new battery was also installed on that date.

Compression test results from 6 September 2026:

• Cylinder 1: 141.5 psi
• Cylinder 2: 145.0 psi
• Cylinder 3: 145.0 psi
• Cylinder 4: 152.5 psi
