It is finally time for this mechanically healthy, solid, and documented reliable 02 Touring to find a new home.

The car’s registration number is EOY048, and over the years, it has been an excellent enthusiast car that is built to be used regularly. It has served as a daily driver between May and September. At the time of writing, the odometer has passed 220,000 km.

Background and History

The car began its life in 1972 as a 1600 Touring. Between 1985 and 1986, the owner at the time performed a very meticulous and complete conversion into a 2000 tii Touring, utilizing all tii-specific components and parts. In connection with this, the car was fully restored and officially registered with the tii engine.

In total, the car has had six private users, including two owners since 1985.

Mechanical Specifications and Upgrades

During the 2000s, chassis modifications were made, and the gearbox and rear axle were replaced.

The engine was rebuilt in 2011 and received a new cylinder head in 2015.

Visually, the car carries a certain patina befitting an 02 that has actually been both used and cared for. There are minor cosmetic blemishes, but both the interior and exterior are in good condition for its age. The car is not completely rust-free, but the rust is purely cosmetic and does not negatively affect the car’s function.
