Offered for sale is a very presentable and well-maintained 1973 Citroën D Super 5, powered by the 2,175 cc engine and equipped with five-speed manual gearbox. The car is left-hand driven, finished in Rouge Cornaline (AC 419), and was first registered on 26 January 1973.

Supplied new to Finland, the car has a well-documented Finnish history. It has been registered in Finland as a historic (“museum”) vehicle since July 2005. The most recent Finnish roadworthiness inspection was completed in August 2024, with the next inspection due by August 2028.

This has been maintained as a classic to drive and enjoy. The aim throughout the current ownership has been to retain the car’s original character while making it mechanically dependable and usable. It is not presented as a concours restoration or a car that has simply been kept on display.

That approach is reflected in its use: the car has covered approximately 5,000 km in each of the past three summers – around 15,000 km in total – without reliability issues. Because of the age and history of the car, its total lifetime mileage cannot be verified and is therefore not claimed.

The interior has been renewed in keeping with the original appearance, including the seats, upholstery and carpets. Overall, the car is very tidy and presents well.

Approximately €18,000 has been invested during the current ownership in restoration, repairs and parts, excluding the owner’s own labour. More demanding work has been carried out by established Finnish specialists in classic Citroëns. A comprehensive file of invoices and documentation is available for the buyer.

The car is a very tidy, usable 53-year-old classic rather than a flawless concours example. There are a few localised areas of bodywork and paintwork that would benefit from attention.
